Our commitment

We work to make golmlaw.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard most often referenced for websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review the site as we add new pages and features.

What we have done

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator that is never hidden behind fixed headers or buttons, and a “Skip to main content” link.
• Form fields, buttons, and menus have labels that screen readers announce.
• Text and controls meet WCAG AA colour-contrast ratios, and links within text are underlined.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
• The background video on the home page can be paused, and motion is reduced for visitors who set “reduce motion” on their device.
• Pages use a logical heading structure and work when zoomed to 200%.

Third-party tools

Some features, such as our online consultation scheduler, are provided by outside services. We choose these services with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their content. If you have trouble using one of them, call us and we will schedule your consultation by phone.
